a tad annoyed   Leave a comment

so we got here at our hotel on Sunday late afternoon.
There is a family of forty or more that were here since we got here.
They act like they own the hotel and take up all the chairs and tables on the deck.

Today we managed to get there before all of them and got a table with a umbrella and four chairs.

One lady asked me nicely if she could have one of the chairs.
I said “yes of course”
I was using two, one for my butt and the other for my legs and feet.

Rick was using the other one.

Hours later one of the younger girls (I’m guessing 15 or 16 ) comes up and takes the chair that I was using for my legs and feet (No my legs and feet weren’t on it at the time) but I thought it was quite rude for her to just assume that I didn’t want that chair.

I could have said something but I was about ready to call it a day in the sun anyway.

However this family of forty are so loud and annoying that the time on the deck wasn’t very nice.

They yell at each other, one man said to his wife “don’t ride my ass about this”

they act like the place is theirs.

Tuesday when we were here we went down to the beach because they had all the chairs and tables occupied but it costs $30 a day to use the beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach.

Not that we can’t do that and will probably do it again tomorrow…

but I just find it annoying and down right rude the way they take over the place….

Needless to say, this isn’t the best vacation at this hotel we have ever had.

It is a beautiful day and the sun is hot.
Too hot for my skin.

But it is wonderful to look out at the ocean and watch the waves roll in and out.

I sort of wish we were going home tomorrow, but I doubt I will be down here again this year so I just need to enjoy it while we are here.

I wish my kids and grandkids were here …..
