Christmas is over with for another year.
We took the tree down this morning and put everything away.

Now we have New Year’s Eve, which we never do anything for except watch grandchildren.
I WOULD LOVE TO GO OUT on New Year’s Eve, but my husband doesn’t want to.
We haven’t been out on New Year’s for 35 years.

sigh.

 

Supposed to get a snow storm on Monday into Tuesday.
I know it has to come some time but they are talking freezing rain and ice, and I would just prefer not to deal with that.
Give me a foot of snow over ice any day.

But it is what it is and we have had a very quiet winter so far….

It has to come sometime…..

I would rather be in Florida with the sun shining but alas…..

no such luck right now.
