like red on a rose   Leave a comment

like red on a rose,

like wine in my blood

you touch me completely

you have never been more loved

you bring me such wonder

I love you more than my own life

like red on a rose

like the fish in the sea

I love you so very much
I am grateful that you belong to me

Dedicated to my grandchildren

out of the mouth of babes   Leave a comment

so yesterday afternoon I went home and all four grandchildren were there.
We were sitting on the front porch swing and the kids were eating Popsicles

my husband asked me like he does every day, how my day at work was.
I answered
“It was fine, but I am so sick and tired of cleaning!”
my five-year old grand-daughter who was sitting right next to me looked up at me and said
“Guess you should have gone to college Nana!”
🙂
I laughed and said “how right you are!”
I thought that was pretty brilliant coming from a five-year old.

Ryan Reynolds   Leave a comment

so I read yesterday that hunky Ryan is now dating Charlize Theron
Smart girl.
Ryan is a hunk.
Ryan is perfection rolled up into one man. (as is Brad Pitt, Robert Redford, Leonardo DiCaprio and George Clooney)
I still say Scarlett Johanson was an idiot to let Ryan go.
I’m sure one day she will regret her stupidity.

Kalifornia   Leave a comment

I watched “Kalifornia” last night with Brad Pitt and Juliette Lewis.
it was made back in 1993 and while it was cheesy in some parts, I have to say Juliette Lewis did a great job on a ditzy female and Brad Pitt was great as a psychopath!
I sure wouldn’t want to meet someone like him on the road.
From playing with his dirty holy socks during meal time, to his need to murder innocent people, it left a mark on my ambitious mind to travel alone.

PS  I guess Ditzy isn’t a word?
I have always used it.
Must be one of those I made up a long time ago.
PSS-  Hunky Brad!
