127 hours   Leave a comment

I just finished watching an incredibly good movie titled “127 Hours” the true story about Aron Ralston, a man who was hiking alone in Blue Canyon Utah and fell and became trapped for six days before he cut off his arm, to get out of the hell he was living in.
He fell and was trapped by an 80 pound boulder that trapped his right arm keeping him from being able to free himself.

It is an amazing story.
If that had been me, I doubt I would have lived through it.
This man was determined to survive.
So amazing.
He still climbs and enjoys a life of sports and keeping physical.
Again, I think if this had happened to me, I don’t think I could have broken my own arm and then cut it off

just don’t think I have it in me.
But than again, who knows, if I had lived through what he had lived through?

a weekend of grandchildren   Leave a comment

had my darling grand daughters over night, which anymore is a rarity.
It was great except that they have to sleep RIGHT NEXT TO ME,  and when I have a KING size bed and they are right next to me, it makes it very hard for me to sleep

I do move them ,but I wake up and they are right next to me again.
So funny.
I love them dearly and I guess they sort of like me too.

They went home about an hour ago and I will have my grandson here in about an hour or so.
Love love love love being Nana, and I love my grandchildren more than I love my own life.

Life is good.
