huge David Baldacci fan

I just finished reading “Absolute Power” by David Baldacci

Yes the same book that prompted them to make the movie “Absolute Power” starring Clint Eastwood.

I loved the movie.
I thought, no way in hell can this book be as good as the movie.
but I am a huge Clint Eastwood fan too so…..

However the book exceeded the movie tenfold!
it was so well written.
this is David Baldacci’s first book that he ever wrote.
I have read several of his.
I think I own them all now, or if I don’t I am heading in that direction.
Some of them are a bit dry and so full of government stuff and terrorists that it gets a bit boring but by the end of every book I think “ahh…what a great read”

I am a huge David Baldacci fan.
He is added to my list of best writers.

Love Davids books
🙂

the darkness of winter is hanging on, it is threatening the weather pattern for tonight and tomorrow.

the very last thing I think we need is more snow and winter weather.
unfortunately mother nature does what she wants without consulting me first.
😦

today is supposed to feel rather spring like with temps in the middle forties and rain off and on all day.
it is quite windy out there now and although it isn’t exactly cold out, it isn’t that warm either with that wind.

I think everyone is ready for spring, but…we have 12 days until spring is officially here.

thirty-two years ago today I became a mother for the first time.
To an 9 pound 3 ounce baby girl.
she was exquisite and wonderful and I felt truly blessed to be her mother.
Unfortunately somewhere along the way I lost her and now she refuses to speak to me.
I am told she is doing well.
I hope she is.
I miss her dearly and love her so much.
I did text her happy birthday this morning.
She doesn’t want to hear from me, but I let last year slip by without acknowledging it.
And I just couldn’t bring myself to not acknowledge it this year.

I hope her life is everything she wants it to be.
And I hope she is happy.

Love and miss you Paula.
