Home is where the heart is or as someone once told me “home is where I hang my hat”

personally for me it is where the heart is….which is home.

I am home.
Thank goodness.
it was a usual typical crappy Monday and on top of that I hurt my back.
ugh.
Hate it.
Hate feeling old and decrepit.

hate the weakness of my back and my never ending problems with it.

but on a good note (a great note actually) my Monday is over with and now I am home and relaxing and writing.

Now all I need is to see my grand daughters to make my day complete.

I am at work again, another stinking Monday.
😦
And any one who knows me or has read this blog knows I hate Monday’s and I hate my job.

I was thinking yesterday how grateful I am to just be alive and feel good.
Today I am carrying that with me as well but I have no ambition and no desire to be here.
And to think, I had this day off originally and decided to cancel it and come to work!
What was I thinking?

But I knew if I had today off I would not want to be here tomorrow and this way I get stinking Monday out-of-the-way.

Trying to be positive here, is it working?

I’m feeling quite fat today and I know it has to do with eating supper at 8 pm last night.
Ugh.
Why do I do this to myself?
I know better darn it.
But I was hungry and hadn’t eaten since eleven thirty so I thought, okay I will have a bowl of soup.
Wrong thing to do.
I feel extremely fat and bloated today.
😦
But on a good note I haven’t had a pop in four weeks!

And I can definitely tell that I am not as bloated with that as I was when I was drinking pop.

Of all the movies I rented this past weekend, this one “Last Chance Harvey” and the first one I watched “Crossing Over” were the best.
The others were basically duds.

I like Dustin Hoffman though so if you don’t like him, you won’t care for the movie.
And it had a good message too.
That one is never too old to find love and companionship.
I also watched “The Day the Earth Stood Still” with Keanu Reeves and while it wasn’t the best movie I have ever seen, it was decent and I got to look at Keanu.

It was a good weekend and very relaxing.
Which is what they are all about.

I heard on the radio coming in this morning that western Nebraska got 18 inches of snow on Saturday!
YIKES!!!!
They can keep it.

I can’t imagine having to deal with 18 inches of snow this early in the season.

I know I have heard for months now that we are in for a bad winter precipitation wise and the temps are suppose to be very cold……but give me another month to get use to the idea before we start having to deal with the white stuff.
